The winter will soon be gone and Powwow will be here. We have little time and much to do. We will be having T-Shirts made for our Annual Powwow. There will be a Pre-sale for our members at the Tuesday March 15th WIIC meeting. Make sure to come and place your order.
Now is the time to start selling ads for our Powwow program. These ads can be personal messages, thank yous,
remembrances of loved ones or business advertisements. The prices are as follows:
Business Card Size - $25.00,
1/2 Page - $40.00,
Whole Page - $75.00,
Whole Page and 2 laminated signs that will be out at Powwow - $100.00.
Another one of our fundraisers will be selling Lotto Calendars. Please see Gail or Pam for details. We all have to make an effort to support our village. Please do what you can!
There is also a desperate need for volunteers in the following areas: Taking care of the craft table, Parking, Feast (This includes set up, serving, and cleanup), Trash removal, and Matenance during the day. These areas need multiple volunteers. Remember, we don't want anyone stuck doing something all day and not be able to enjoy Powwow!!
We have a WIIC phone number now. It is 1-774-578-5385. If you can't make the meeting, don't be shy to call and volunteer on the phone. If you are part of the village, please be willing to do something to help. A strong and healthy village is made that way by its inhabitants. We All need to help.
Also the WIIC craft table is in need of Quality Native Items. If you can contribute, please do.
